Work With Me
I wear many hats, but they all grow from the same root: cultivating safe spaces, sharing truths through story, and helping others remember who they are.
Whether you're looking to bring emotional safety into your organization, explore Indigenous governance in a meaningful way, or create deeper connection through story and dialogue—I’d love to work with you.
✦ Keynote Speaker
I speak to audiences across Canada and beyond on topics like Cultivating Safe Spaces, Indigenous laws and governance, education, healthcare, decolonizing systems, trauma-informed leadership, and personal healing journeys. Whether it's a conference, government gathering, or grassroots movement, I bring storytelling, presence, and perspective that moves people.
✦ Cultivating Safe Spaces Training
Through the CSS Framework, I offer workshops, customized trainings, and a Train the Trainer program that has certified over 100 facilitators and reached thousands. These trainings help teams and organizations cultivate emotional safety, trust, and patience—foundations for belonging and transformative change.
✦ Podcast Guest / Interviews
I love real conversations. If you're hosting a podcast or interview series and want to explore topics like decolonized healing, sobriety, generational trauma, parenting, or Indigenous knowledge systems, I’m happy to join you in that space.
✦ Book Signings/Clubs
I wrote my first book and released it during COVID-19, I’d love to experience in-person experience to promote my second book. Please see my Events Page to see if I’m coming to your area and if you’d like to invite me into your space please contact wynette@naqsmist.com
✦ Custom Collaborations
I collaborate with communities, governments, and organizations on engagement, curriculum design, Indigenous planning, and storytelling. I’ve co-led projects like the nationally recognized Path Forward Report on MMIWG2S+, Indigenous governance training, and decolonizing and cultural safety initiatives across sectors.
